Best Design Award for Mr. Nachiket Thakur

Mr. Nachiket Thakur is a faculty member of industrial product design at the CADCAMGURU Institute.
He is also a Senior Designer of Energy conservation and process automation major Forbes Marshall.
He has been conferred the national award for best industrial design for its MiniMax boiler house. The design excellence awards are instituted by the National Institute of Design, and judged by a jury from Korea, Japan, Israel and India.

CADCAMGURU is proud of having Nachiket in its faculty. We wish him all the best. At our institute he is involved in developing the future industrial designers.

CADCAMGURU participates in: International Conference on Experimental Mechanics (ICEM) 2004, Singapore.

Mr. Nathaji Shelke, course co-ordinator of the CADCAMGURU Insitute was invited to present a paper on "Finite Element Modeling and Simulation of Fiber Optical based Load Cell (FOLC) sensor at this conference which was from 29th Nov. to 1st December 2004.

More than 160 delegates from U.S.A., China, Japan, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, India, Honkong, Bangkok, Italy, France, England and Mexico, presented their papers.

Visit of Prof. P.W. Wani

Prof. P.W. Wani, Joint Director - Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra visited the CADCAMGURU Institute. Mr. Prasanna Joshi, Director, welcomed him and explained to him the concept of the value added education. Prof. Wani appreciated the efforts taken by the Institute and gave his blessingsts faculty. We wish him all the best. At our institute he is involved in developing the future industrial designers.

Visit of Mr. Rego Villamarin

Mr. Rigo Villamarin, of Yappa Corporation, recently visited CADCAMGURU Institute. He was looking for students who are good in design, for employment in their company.

The company has its own proprietary modeling software for net based applications. They are planning to start a subsidiary in India. The students of the CADCAMGURU Institute gave presentations to him, show casing their skills.
